It is important to keep numbers on hand. Check your state for programs that you can call. Add these to your contacts within your phone and data banks. Display numbers and information at your place of work. If you live and work in a tourist area, display numbers and information in public areas, restrooms, hotel lobbies, restaurants, clinics, hospitals, and schools.
Most trafficking does not involve kidnapping. While there may be some cases where this is true most cases include coercion, deception, threats, force and grooming that occur across familial tracks involving family members trafficking their own children for labor and sex. Traffickers operate small to large enterprises for commercial gain for the purpose of labor and/or sexual exploitation.
